I was pleasantly surprised by how evenly this pan holds heat — my roast chicken came out perfectly crispy on the skin. The pre-seasoned surface felt smooth right out of the box, and it's already starting to develop that nonstick patina after just a few uses.
The polished surface is noticeably smoother than my old skillet—eggs slide right off after just a few uses. Pre-seasoned and ready to cook from the first meal.
It handles a whole chicken well, but the pre-seasoning seemed a bit uneven and I had to re-season it myself before the first use. For the price I expected a smoother surface right out of the box.
