Was surprised how evenly the pan heated across the entire surface on my first use—no hot spots at all. The self-basting ridges in the lid kept my roast chicken incredibly moist without any extra effort.
The lid fits so snugly it feels like it was machined for this skillet—no wobble at all. Pre-seasoned finish was ready to cook right out of the box, and the ridges on the lid trap steam beautifully for braising. Exactly what I wanted for one-pot meals.
The self-basting ridges on the lid really do make a difference—my roast chicken came out perfectly moist. It's hefty but well-balanced, and the pre-seasoning means I could cook with it right out of the box.
