Got this as my first real cast iron and the pre-seasoned surface was ready to go right out of the box, no scrubbing or baking needed. Did a steak last night and the crust came out exactly like the videos I'd watched. The weight feels solid but manageable, and cleanup was just warm water and a quick

The pan's smooth finish is a huge step up from the rough cast iron I used to fight with, and the weight feels perfectly balanced for flipping eggs. It's already become my go-to for cornbread and searing steaks, no seasoning fuss at all.

The pre-seasoned surface was ready to go right out of the box, and the weight feels solid without being unwieldy. I've used it three times already and nothing sticks, even scrambled eggs.
