The Starter Set No.12

I’ve been using cast iron for years and this set finally convinced me to ditch my old rough-surface pan. The smooth cooking surface is a huge upgrade, and the way the heat distributes evenly makes searing feel effortless. Definitely worth it for anyone starting out or upgrading.

The preseasoned surface is genuinely non-stick right out of the box—my eggs slid around like they were on teflon. The set covers everything from a quick sear to a full Sunday roast, so I haven't touched my old pans since it arrived.

Got this as my first cast iron set after years of nonstick, and the weight feels substantial without being unwieldy—seasoning it right out of the box was a breeze and my eggs slid right off this morning.
